TargetCast Networks Acquires Ripple TV

by Jay Gould on September 23, 2009

targetcast-ripple-sTargetCast Networks, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Ripple TV to deliver local and national advertisements to over 1400 locations on 3425 screens.

According to Jerry Hall, President/CEO of TargetCast Networks, this acquisitions “creates the largest away from home television network in the industry with its casual sit-down and fast casual chain locations, delivering 3.9 million Nielsen measured viewers weekly.”

TargetCast’s patented TargetCaster hardware and software products provide a unique offering to advertisers to allow them to target consumers while they are “in-market” to buy their products.  For example, Pepsi could target a consumer at Applebees while eating dinner on the television screens.  This merger creates an interesting advertising network.
